Know the Law

Everyone wants the best for their children. Yet we live in a society that promotes social drinking and advertises to young people. Research shows that many parents today are ambivalent about underage drinking, which is often thought of as a rite of passage during teen years. If a family accepts underage drinking as inevitable, some difficult ethical and legal dilemmas arise. At the very least, youth and families should understand the law and the possible consequences if they chose to break it.
