Medication Disposal

 

There are 3 easy ways for Tompkins County residents to dispose safely of unwanted, expired, or unneeded medications:

Regular Disposal Events (Next event:  April 26, 10-2, Slaterville Springs)

Year Round Drop Boxes in Tompkins County   Other sites in NYS

Pharmacy take backs

At our most recent medication collection event on Oct. 26 we collected   lbs. of medications from 76 people at 2 sites (Slaterville Springs and TC3).

    

We have not scheduled our next collection event.  We remind you that there are 9 permanent drop boxes available year round where you can bring your medications for disposal.
