There are 3 easy ways for Tompkins County residents to dispose safely of unwanted, expired, or unneeded medications:

Regular Disposal Events (None scheduled at this time)

Year Round Drop Boxes in Tompkins County   Other sites in NYS

Pharmacy take backs

At our most recent medication collection event on April 26 we collected medications from 24 people at the Slaterville Springs site.

    

We have not scheduled our next collection event.  We remind you that there are 9 permanent drop boxes available year round where you can bring your medications for disposal.
